Hello :]

Dear fellow book junkies,
I have been obsessed with reading since I can remember. And now, years later, as a sophomore in college, I definitely do not have as much time to snuggle up with a blanket and escape into a good story. It is much more difficult to take the time to read something that I am interested in when I have hundreds of pages of English Lit that I have to read a week. The one drawback of being an English major. It makes reading for fun just that much harder to accomplish. So, I am making an effort to actually read. It is one of my favorite things to do. But, after reading Beowulf, it is sometimes so much easier to turn on the television. Well, no more.
From now on, I am going to READ. And I am hoping that writing this blog will make me not get lost in my busy day to day life and take some time to myself. I will update this with reviews, new books, books into movies, etc. Probably, no one will actually read this. But that's alright. It will just be fun to write it :] And if there is someone listening, I hope you enjoy it. It is just that much easier to know what to read when you have a recommendation. So, here we go :]

Sounds like a great idea! I need a good book to read that is not a deep read but a good read, not too sad though! :) Glad you are feeling better Karissa. When will you come???
